Volunteer with HerbSpeak
Want to help a project at HerbSpeak grow? Here, you can see which volunteer opportunities are available. We need a range of skills, ecological knowledge, and backgrounds to make everything here happen. Depending on the project, you may be working to preserve knowledge between generations, or introducing someone to something in their backyard.
Volunteering efforts are attributed, so whether you are working on a project solo or as a team, you’ll always have the ability to reference it as an accomplishment.
Volunteering is not the only way you can help HerbSpeak. Did you know that you can also show support by tipping? While nothing requires payment, everything from curation to website costs is paid for out of pocket. If every person who visited this website donated $5 each month – the cost of a cup of coffee – we would have enough for a full-time employee dedicated to curating dozens of quality resources.

Volunteer Interest Form
Below, you’ll see the Google Form for inquiring about volunteer work. Please note that this is the only method of signing up for volunteer work; we won’t be able to add you separately if you email interest separately. Be sure to save and submit your answer before clicking away.

Almost all of the information is voluntary, and no one outside of HerbSpeak will see it or be able to use it. Adding an email or signing in with Google will allow you to receive a copy of your responses. The more detail you give, the more we have to go on in selecting volunteers for specific positions. So, it’s beneficial to be specific in your responses.
In the form itself, you’ll find different areas of interest. Indicate which ones you would be willing to participate in. Even if we don’t have a project going on currently with open volunteer positions, we may have one open in the future.
Furthermore, we’re always interested in pitches! Have an idea for a project? Let us know.
Know someone who is interested in volunteering?
There are several ways to volunteer, and there are always different projects to work on. If you know someone who is interested in volunteering, you can refer them to this page to sign up. Different areas of interest are available in the Google form.
